Pia is an experienced European patent attorney and has been working in intellectual property (IP) since 2001. She has worked across patent offices, private practice and her own company, gaining a broad perspective on IP management. 

She has extensive experience supporting organizations of all sizes – from start-ups to multinational corporations – on various aspects of IP. Her skills include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, developing IP strategies, conducting freedom-to-operate analyses, providing legal advice, and managing IP portfolio. Additionally, she is experienced in lecturing and leading workshops on IP and related topics. While working across various industries, Pia has developed strong technical expertise, particularly in medical devices, robotics, automation, vehicles, and water purification.

Pia has a strong interest in leveraging IP to support environmental and circular economy initiatives, and she helps clients develop IP strategies that align with such goals. She also gives lectures and workshops in the intersection of IP and sustainability, drawing on her second M.Sc. in Environmental Science.

Johanna is a dedicated intellectual property professional since 2001, with extensive experience as both a patent examiner and in private practice. Before her intellectual property career, she worked in software development, where she advanced to a managerial role.

In her role as a European Patent Attorney, Johanna specializes in software, electronics, telecommunications, and signal processing, with a strong track record in the vehicle and mobile communication industries. Her roles at multinational companies have given her expertise in portfolio management, IP strategy, litigation, negotiations, and standard essential patents.

Apart from being a European Patent Attorney, Johanna has also obtained a Master of Law degree, LL.M., focusing on intellectual property, AI, and digitalisation. She is interested in the intersection of law, sustainability, and emerging technologies, aiming to shape IP rights to address societal challenges like climate change. Johanna also has experience in trademarks, inventor rights, IP-related agreements, and representing clients in the Patent and Market Court.

Uno is a European Patent Attorney with extensive experience in the intellectual property field since 2000. His career includes roles at the Swedish Patent Office, in-house patent departments across various industries, and patent consulting firms. Uno has also held various roles as a patent manager in internationally recognized firms with staff in multiple countries.

Uno possesses expertise in a wide range of technologies, including mechanical engineering, automation, materials, building and ventilation, heat transfer, vehicle technology, and process technology. He has significant experience in supporting and guiding companies and organizations in establishing strategies, as well as organizing and managing patent and IP processes. Uno is skilled in drafting and prosecuting national and international patent applications and has experience working with designs. Additionally, Uno has extensive experience in enforcing patent rights across Europe, the US, China, India, and Africa.

Senior Patent Consultant, EUIPO-certified IP Scan expert, M.Sc. Civil Engineering

Lars is a seasoned and experienced Patent Consultant with a career in intellectual property that began in 2000. He brings extensive experience from his role as a Senior Patent Examiner at the Swedish Patent Office. Following his tenure there, Lars transitioned to the private sector, founding and operating his own patent consulting firm.

Lars's expertise encompasses a broad range of technical fields, with a particular focus on civil and mechanical engineering. He has significant experience in mining technology, rail technology, road and bridge technology, and pump and sealing technology. Lars is highly skilled in conducting novelty searches and performing thorough analyses for both patentability and infringement. Additionally, he is an EUIPO-certified IP Scan expert, providing specialized IP services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Lars works in close proximity to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), allowing him to stay updated on PCT laws and regulations and remain connected with international IP developments.
